Tea Clipper Thermopylae 1868 ~ HALF HULL DISPLAY

Traditionally built from hollowed out, stacked planks of alternating color wood. Half models are highly collectable and make beautiful home décor.

While braving furious gales and storms, they passed by lands originally called Terra Incognita.

Their records of passage have been documented and their names are legendary. Half models were built by shipwrights from the Age of Sail as a record of the specific shape of a ship’s hull.
